Going Forward with Worship
- We will be completely online for worship and bible study through the end of April. Worship will be online every Sunday at 10am (Facebook Live and YouTube; replayed on www.wesleychurchofhope.org and www.clairumc.com). Bible Study will be at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays (Facebook Live).
- All events will be cancelled until further notice. Changes will be based on how we monitor improvements in our community.
- Please keep in contact with one another via phone, email, text, social media, and other resources.
- Observe all of the orders that are taking place in our community.
- Continue to financially support the congregation. Take advantage of the platforms available to continue your tithes and offerings (online at wesleychurchofhope.org, or by mail to 2935 Bulen Avenue, Columbus, OH 43207)
- Be in prayer for one another
Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
Through days of toil when heart does fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.
All you may need he will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.
No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you.
God will take care of you,
Through ev’ry day,
O’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
My prayer is that we begin to tap into new ways of being the church. Our location does not determine if we are the local church. The church is the Body of Christ beyond the wall of our assembly address. We will use this season to become more innovative in how we spread the Word of God in times like these. During our online worship this past Sunday, we had 252 views in the first 24 hours. That number does not include how many people were watching per view. The number of views let’s me know that what we have to offer is desired by many in our world. Let us be prayerful and committed to continue the process of how we minister to one another and beyond. I love you all, and I am praying continuously for you.
In the Lord’s Service,
Pastor Charles W. Ferguson
