The Path Forward
OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS, WE WILL BEGIN TO SET OUR FOCUS ON PILLARS OF ACTION THAT WILL GOVERN HOW E APPROACH MINISTRY IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.
Salvation is the foundation of effective ministry to the world. Our community is waiting on us to see, hear, understand, and recognize their human experience. While doing so, we must see the God-opportunities to see souls saved, lives transformed, and the Kingdom of God advanced in the Earth.
Salvation is the transformative act that we seek for people to experience. Through our open testimony, passionate reflection, and constant growth, we can expand that pursuit to reach all people with the message of the Gospel.
OVER THE YEARS, THE CHURCH UNIVERSAL HAS BECOME A PLACE SYNONYMOUS WITH FUNCTIONING UNDER THE DELUSION OF SHOW UP AND IT WILL DRAW.
The placement of the institution of the church has shifted from a prominent force to side conversation among the masses. We have been challenged to raise our consciousness from existing to movement. It has been an uncomfortable change, yet we must address the reasons that we have arrived at this moment.
- We have moved away from intentional movement as a corporate body. Many people have not forgotten the overall goals and purpose of the Body of Christ. We have been attempting to reach stats and figures while forgetting the motivating factors that guide us to passionate worship, transformative ministry, and impactful engagement.
- The mission has been sacrificed for the inconvenience of the present. Our conditions (spiritual, financial, mental, etc.) have dictated how we have conducted ourselves in the approach to doing Kingdom work. Today’s lack has been used to suggest that God’s promise will not come tomorrow. Therefore, we have taken the approach to not seek the Lord’s way and methods to prepare for a future that God has prepared with provision to carry out the plan.
- We have attempted to craft the vision according to our security and comfort. The mission of the Kingdom of God is not comfortable nor convenient. It requires of us to examine what our environment looks like currently and recognize how we can cause it to become greater.
